Cast a Wider Net
In a time when it seems like everybody is getting 'on the Net', it certainly helps to have a web site that stands out as different from the competition. Building a web site that is creative and distinct is one thing, but keeping it up-to-date and constistently interesting is another. If you don't have the budget for a full-time web creative and programming staff, an obvious option is to do it yourself. The challenge is having the time and the skills to do the work. Well, we take care of that part through our dynamic web system.
What is a dynamic web site? Our definition of a dynamic web site is a set of web pages (like this site) that displays content which can be changed interactively by the owner. The structure of the system lets the owner edit content without worrying about HTML.
Why bother with a dynamic site? So you can make changes however often and exactly as you want. If your company or organization has a "traditional" web site, you either have to be comfortable working with HTML or you have to pay a webmaster to make changes for you. Even simple changes can be expensive these days.
Ok, really, what's the point? Visitors browse to your website because it's attractive, functional, and up-to-date. If it isn't, visitors are unlikely to keep coming back. You should make sure your web site has current information. That way, it will continue to be useful to your customers and they'll keep visiting. |
